ACCOMMODATION

We booked a single, double or double-twin room for you at the Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge Hotel for the nights of April 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12* and assigned roommates for you of the same gender*. Buffet style breakfast is included in the room rate which IIE will cover. Breakfast venue at hotel:
Terrasse Restaurant, Floor C. (from 6:30 to 10:30 AM).
*Subject to change based on individual travel plans and requests negotiated with the Whitaker Events Team.

The rooming list was provided to the hotel, you will be given your room number upon check-in. A buffet lunch at the hotel will also be provided and covered by IIE for the days of April 10, 11 and 12 as well as dinners on April 9, 10 and 12.

Check-in time: 2 pm – Early check-in is subject to room availability.
Check-out: 12/noon on the day of departure. Arrangements can be made for baggage storage after 12 pm.

Please note that you are responsible for covering the following expenses:

  • Incidentals (phone, laundry, room service, mini bar etc.)
  • A certain percentage of the room rate (TBD), in case you are not sharing the room with a Whitaker grantee and you’re bringing a guest or if you requested a single room.
  • Additional nights at the hotel, based on your agreement with the Whitaker Events Team.
  • Independent meals

REGISTRATION FOR CONFERENCE

Registration for the conference will take place at the beginning of the Welcome Reception on April 9 th from 6 PM at the hotel (Bellevue I-II Room on Floor C). We will hand out your badges and conference packages at this time. Please be punctual and those who will be doing a poster session, please also drop your posters off to us here. Registration will be followed by welcome remarks and a reception.
