Project Title:
Raman spectroscopy for noninvasive real-time analysis and characterization of living cells
Project Abstract:
The overall goal of the project is to characterize and distinguish cell states using Raman spectroscopy. The facilities at Imperial College London provide state of the art equipment for the investigation of this non-invasive, label, marker and stain free method of molecular analysis of living cells. This sophisticated analysis could be used to identify and compare cells and their responses to various treatments and novel cellular constructs.
